As a business mentor, corporate executive and entrepreneur, I have been driven to simplify…clarify…render things to their simplest format.  If one cannot explain something in simple terms (no matter how complex the topic), one does not fully understand it and has no business trying to explain it to others.

I found myself suddenly immersed in the world of wine…more specifically, in wine appreciation.  Can anyone think of a more guarded, daunting, and outright intimidating practice?  If you survived the terror tempest of terroirs, tanins, and texture, you were quickly showered with the suspicious intentions of bouquet, balance, and barrel-aged.  And what do you mean you can’t smell the obvious perfume of barnyard in your Merlot?
Off with the Vitis Viniferic shackles!
On my blog, we will keep it real.  Wine appreciation is an art form for everyone to enjoy!

  1. Thanks for following my blog. I agree entirely about wine appreciation being an art form and, like art, everyone’s sense of taste is different, so plenty to talk about!
